Because of her historical significance and provenance, 007 has, for the most part, lived a very pampered life.  Like most wooden boats, life for 007 changed markedly after the 1981 movie "On Golden Pond" that stoked an intense interest in wooden boats.  Although her condition had deteriorated somewhat after being sold to a series of owners after the Kaiser era in 1962, 007 was subsequently revived by a committed series of owners beginning with Ken Nelson.  007's ongoing restoration and maintenance have continued with her current owners.  These images show 007 during several recent restorations, including her 2020 - 2022 makeover.
